Ways for You to Get Involved
Option 1: HOST our Students – The Sprinternship™
Experience:
Host a cohort of students for a 2-3 week micro-internship experience. During Sprinternship™, you immerse the students in the company culture while they tackle a real-world Challenge Project of your choice and present their findings to your organization. This program can be run virtually, hybrid, or in-person, and we help execute at every step.
Benefits:

Option 2: COACH our Students – AI Studio
Experience:
Pose a business challenge using a data set of your choice that the students will solve with their AI/ML skills under your direction. Break Through Tech prepares the students to tackle this challenge after completing a rigorous 9-week technical training in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Students work on their projects virtually, in teams, as an extracurricular activity under the supervision of a tech advisor from your company and support from our mentors.

- Assess your organization’s capabilities and need for emerging talent as the students work to solve problems in a real-world setting.

Time frame: August to December
Time Commitment: 2 meetings a month for four months
Examples of AI Challenge Projects: Our students have worked and helped solve business problems using AI, data science, and machine learning in healthcare, finance, consulting, retail, tech, and many other industries.

Option 3: MENTOR our Students
It is incredibly fulfilling to know that you played a special role in helping a student develop their workplace skills and gain confidence to jump-start their career.
Experience:
Become a mentor to empower diverse undergraduate tech talent. Increase their awareness of job opportunities, help them build portfolios, and expand their networks. We will provide career development training to enhance your skills and drive successful outcomes.

- Personal Fulfillment: Mentoring will provide you with a sense of satisfaction and personal fulfillment as you contribute to others’ growth and success.

Time commitment: Meet once monthly with your assigned student cohort from August to December.
