Becky McCain

Program Specialist, Sprinternships™ 

As a Program Specialist at Break Through Tech, Becky supports the delivery of the Sprinternship™ programs through industry partner engagement and student programming and communications. Her work is centered around optimizing student success and partner satisfaction. 

Becky began her career with Teach For America as a 5th grade English Language Arts teacher where she supported English language learners. After teaching for a few years, she transitioned into Higher Education to pursue her passion for student career development. As a career counselor at the College of the Holy Cross, Becky supported students interested in pursuing careers in Business, Consulting, and Finance. She is passionate about providing students with opportunities to see their potential and find success in college and the world beyond in a way that is authentic to them. 

Becky holds a Masters degree in Higher Education and a Certificate in International Higher Education from Boston College, and Masters degree in Education (K-12) from Rhode Island College. Outside of work, she can be found knitting gifts for other people, running slowly for long periods of time, and reading fiction!
